Feature Matrix

If you're evaluating Epesi for your business, the honest answer to "does it do X?" is: this page tells you what's documented, not what the software is definitively capable of. Epesi is an extensible framework — a feature's absence from these docs doesn't prove it's unbuildable, only that nobody has written it up yet. Where that distinction matters, it's called out below.

Not found in this documentation

Site-wide search of every page turned up no dedicated documentation for these commonly-expected business processes:

  • Invoicing / billing
  • Sales pipeline / opportunities
  • HR / employee management (beyond the Contacts "Employee" access-level concept used for permissions, which is not an HR module)
  • Formal project management (Tasks exist as a record type; there's no documented "Projects" module tying tasks, time, and budget together)

If your evaluation depends on one of these, the right next step is asking the Epesi team directly (via the community forum or support) rather than assuming either way from this page.

Licensing, in one place

Epesi BIM itself is MIT licensed — free for any use, including commercial resale, with unlimited users. Separately, Epesi (the company) offers paid hosting and premium support (epesi.cloud, epesiCRM SaaS) and some Store modules are sold rather than free. The framework and the core application are free forever under MIT; hosting and some add-on modules are where the commercial offerings live.
